Airflow in an attic space is critical to both roof system life expectancy and maintaining a healthy living environment below.
When airflow is unsubstantial condensation is likely. We needed to improve both intake and exhaust in this case. Intake was improved through the usage of foam rafter space baffles that open up pathways for air to enter the attic space through the soffit when soffits have been blocked with insulation. Exhaust was improved upon by installing additional attic space vents in the roof system above. Air movement is now probable and the home owner’s condensation problems should be resolved. It’s a great feeling knowing my efforts have a beneficial effect on peoples quality of life.
