My truck

I have always recognized the value in having reliable transportation. I make a point to upgrade my vehicles before they get past 5 years. If I can’t get to a job I can’t do the work. My newest vehicle is a 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 1-ton Cummins diesel purchased from Jim Pattison in Surrey BC. A very reliable work truck…. or so I thought. Seems the turbo feature has packed it in after only 50,000 km. I purchased an upgraded 7 year power train warranty when I bought the truck thinking it’s always a good idea to have added protection. Well I’m glad I did. This repair is in excess of $2500 and it won’t cost me a dime. Or maybe it will? I’ve lost the use of my most important tool for 1.5 days. Wouldn’t you know those are sunny and dry days too. Days I could have been on a roof. I look into the future and wonder if ever there will be Star Trek technology of tele-porting. Beam me up Scotty. I can only hope.
