The membrane used for the hidden gutter patches is not the typical material used for the rest of the built in gutter system. It’s a special rubber that is manufactured for the purpose of patching. Critical details such as substrate preparation, membrane selection, adhesive selection and caulking selection are where inexperienced contractors may fail.
