The weep hole in the window is a terrible detail. It spills out onto a negatively sloped piece of metal. I caulked it best I could without sealing the weep hole. Let’s hope the cause was one of the many other things I caulked.

Just about anything I saw got a fresh bead of clear caulk

This was caused by a previous contractor who did not use proper gear to mount the roof

All it takes is an old sofa cushion without the case

We caulked all the way up the side window

... and even cleared out some debris here

On this job, we were called out to regarding a leak that appeared to be the result of old caulking around the glass of a sunroom. A previous contractor had dented the metal roof by not using the correct gear.

We found a terrible detail; a weep hole that spilled out onto a negatively sloped piece of metal. We caulked it as best we could, without actually sealing up the weep hole. Old caulking was removed and a fresh bead of clear caulking was applied.
