Case Study

Skylight #1 opened up. This was the “dripper”
Due to the shadows, you can’t see that each 1x4 wood slat along this side is wet. NoMce the compressed containment lip and debris build up beside said compression. These are the breach points.
Skylight #2 opened up
The customer originally called us out to check on some leaks on his tile roof. We discovered the “dripper” after opening up the tiles around the first skylight. The 1 x4″ wood slat along the side was wet, and the containment lip compressed. There were several breach points that needed to be addressed.

Next, we opened up the second skylight. More breach points were exposed. We added caulking details, then reassembled the tile roof, exchanging silver tiles with lead cover sheets. We also added new lead above the vent flange.

The customer was so happy with the work, he called us back for a second chimney job, and left us a glowing review on HomeStars.
