My biased opinion is that she messes with Roofers more than anybody else. I was scheduled to go into Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam to do repairs on 3 separate concrete tile roofs today. But the Grand Lady had different plans. She rained just enough to dampen the tiles which cancelled my abilities to walk on the steep pitches that we have been challenged with on these jobs. I’m glad my customers are so understanding! But just because it rains it doesn’t mean I’m given the day off. Oh no. No such luxury here. I removed my “Worker’s” hat and put on my “Estimator’s” hat and went and looked at 4 other sites in need of a roofers help. As much as Mother Nature tries to rain on my parade I don’t let her get me down. I love my job. When I am helping people through stressful situations and in need of professional assistance, it’s all worth it…. whether I’m soaking in the rain or basking in the sun. I love Mother Nature.
